4 Days Yangtze River Cruise from Chongqing to Yichang

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Chongqing Arrival & Board Your Ship

   Welcome to our 4-day Yangtze River cruise! Please head to Chaotianmen Dock between 18:00-20:30 to board our Yangtze cruise ship.

   The exciting Yangtze River cruise will depart at 21:00! Around 21:15, you will be given some safety instructions and a brief itinerary for the next day. Have a sweet dream!

   

   * Note:

   1. Please confirm the actual departure time and boarding dock with your travel advisor before boarding. Usually, boarding times and departure terminals vary according to water levels, weather, and other factors.
   2. Please contact your travel consultant one day in advance for specific boarding locations. Chaotianmen Dock has 13 sub-quays, which are berthed by different ships.

2. Day 2: Yangtze River Cruise
   Practice Tai Chi, Fengdu Shuanggui Mountain, Captain's Welcome Party

   In the morning, the magnificent view of the Yangtze River outside the window will gradually wake you up.

   Enjoy early bird tea or coffee and fine refreshments. After that, practice Tai Chi on the boat's sundeck and bask in the serene glow of the mild sunshine illuminating the peaceful waters of the Yangtze River.

   

   Have a buffet breakfast at 07:30 am.

   Start your shore excursion at 08:00 am. You will take a guided tour of Fengdu Shuanggui Mountain, which covers an area of about 1 square kilometer. It is famous for being "strange, quiet, and quaint", with verdant trees, flowing streams, and singing birds.

   

   After that, return to the cruise for a lunch buffet and a rest. At approximately 17:20, you will be offered a Captain's welcome party, at which all the programs are performed by the crew.

   * Options:

   1. Fengdu Ghost City from 08:00 to 12:00.
   2. FengYan SanGuo "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" Show from 19:00 to 21:30.

3. Day 3: Yangtze River Cruise
   Three Gorges, Shennv Stream, Crew Cabaret

   Get up early and enjoy the sun on the deck with a cup of coffee or tea. Today, the ship will take you through the Three Gorges to witness the spectacular canyon scenery.

   The Qutang Gorge is the first one. At eight kilometers long, it is the shortest of the Three Gorges, but the most majestic and precipitous. The rock walls are towering on both sides, and the great river surges between the cliffs.

   We will then sail through Wu Gorge. Known for its beauty, Wu Gorge is long and deep, with abrupt peaks rising one higher than the other. The ship travels through Wu Gorge, just like entering a beautiful gallery.

   

   After the lunch buffet, take a short break. At about 15:00, you will be arranged to take a boat tour of the beautiful Shennv Stream (Goddess Stream) to admire the towering peaks up close.

   After the tour, return to the ship. In the evening, enjoy your last night at the Captain's farewell banquet. Afterwards, watch the Crew Cabaret.

   * Option:

   Additional Shore excursion to White Emperor City from 07:30 to 10:15.

4. Day 4: Yangtze River Cruise & Yichang Departure
   Three Gorges Dam

   After the breakfast buffet, pack your luggage. The ship will dock at Maoping Wharf. Go ashore to visit the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydroelectric project in the world.

   

   You will learn about the background history of the Three Gorges Dam Project from your guide, marvel at the huge dam from different angles, and appreciate the beautiful landscape and scenery around it.

   After the visit, take the shuttle bus to Yichang Three Gorges Central Cruise Terminal at about 12:30. Your 4-day Yangtze River cruise ends here!

   * Option:

   Board sightseeing-ferry sailing through TGP Ship's elevator from 07:45 am.
