Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Chongqing Arrival

   Welcome to China's Mountain City, Chongqing, for our 5-day carefully-crafted Chongqing trip! Upon the arrival, your local driver will pick you up at the exit of the Arrival Hall and send you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the 8D magic city.

2. Day 2: Nature Exploration
   Take Sightseeing Train, Marvel at Karst Bridges

   After breakfast, we will drive east for about 3 hours to reach the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park located in Wulong District. The park is famous for alpine grasslands, forest sea, unique peaks, and snowy landscapes. The scenic area is characterized by free-range cattle and sheep, beautiful natural scenery, and is known as the "Little Switzerland of Chongqing". It offers over 20 outdoor activities such as horseback riding, grass skiing, paragliding, etc. In winter, visitors can experience the professional ski resort. We have arranged a sightseeing train for you.

   Then transfer you to another must see natural scenery in Chongqing - Three Nature Bridges, located in Xiannvshan Town, which is a typical karst landform wonder. Composed of three natural stone arch bridges, Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge, it spans the Yangshui River Canyon, forming a unique landscape of "three bridges sandwiching two pits".

   

   The tour guide will take you on an eco-friendly car to the scenic area, and then take the sightseeing elevator directly to the valley floor to explore along the trail. Surrounded by streams at the bottom of the valley, towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and dense vegetation, it was once the filming location for "Transformers 4".

   Finally, go to the largest glass observation deck in Chongqing, still located in the Three Nature Bridges Scenic Area. Standing here, you can overlook the magnificent scenery. After the visit, escort you to check-in at the hotel in Wulong.

3. Day 3: Chongqing City Highlights
   Explore Chongqing's Rail Wonder and Dazzling Nightscapes

   Today we drive back to Chongqing downtown area for a stroll at the Ciqikou Ancient Town. Built along the mountains, the town has a long history dating back to the Song Dynasty (960-1127). Here, you can see old buildings, among which the most prominent is Yinglong Gate. Continue to explore the ancient temple, Baolun Temple, also known as Longyin Temple, with exquisite double-eaved wooden structure.

   Next, transfer you to Liziba Station to witness the view of the light rail shuttle through residential buildings. Then, go to admire Kuixing Tower, built in the third year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1725 AD). It was a place where ancient scholars sought literary fortune. A major feature of the tower is the unequal width of its eight sides. And the Qiansimen Bridge is one of the landmarks of Chongqing, and you can take some nice photos.

   

   The last stop will be the nearby Hongya Cave, boasting 11 floors and a height of 79 meters. Its main attractions consist of stilted buildings, antique commercial streets and other landscapes. Here, you can taste specialty cuisine, enjoy leisure and entertainment activities, and choose folk crafts. The night view of Hongyadong is definitely worth watching.

4. Day 4: Old and Modern Chongqing
   Experience Modern Buzz, Historic Steps, Mountain Serenity

   In the morning, your guide will lead you to explore the modernization of Chongqing at Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, the first commercial street in western China. There are lots of commercial facilities such as shopping centers, department stores, restaurants, and coffee shops, making it a popular place for Chongqing citizens and tourists to shop, relax, and entertain.

   A few minutes' walk to POP MART store, a must-visit spot for trendy enthusiasts! The store displays a dazzling array of blind boxes, limited edition figurines, and co branded merchandise, with popular IPs readily available. You can experience the surprise of the "box", or take photos with the giant trendy toys.

   As a century-old stone staircase alley connecting the upper and lower half of Chongqing City, Eighteen Ladder is the most lively city museum in Chongqing. On both sides of the steep and winding stone road, there are remnants of old Chongqing symbols such as shaver stalls and tea houses, which collide with the modern Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Baixiangju is a famous residential building in Chongqing, from which people can clearly see the 360 degree city view and the Yangtze River cableway landscape.

   

   Your Chongqing tour today will end at the Laojun Cave. Located on Laojun Mountain in Nan'an District, Laojun Cave was first built in the Tang Dynasty and was originally a Buddhist temple. In the Ming Dynasty, it was converted into a Taoist temple. Built along the mountain, the cave is arranged in a "玄" shape, circling from the gate to the top, with a total of 13 halls. Here you can see carefully preserved stone carvings and reliefs.

5. Day 5: Departure from Chongqing

   Your Chongqing group tour of 5 days ends here! After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and escort you to the airport / train station for your departure. Safe travels!
