Sichuan is known as the home to giant pandas. Today you will be guided to explore Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base to see the long-waited cute pandas. There are giant pandas of all ages from baby pandas to adult pandas, and you also have chance to see the more active red pandas. Have a lot of fun to watch the lovely creature sleeping, eating and playing. They will definitely melt your heart.
Arriving at the panda center, you will get a close look at pandas in their different life stage: the infant pandas, the baby pandas, the young adult pandas and the elder adult pandas. If you arrive early (before 8:30 am), you may be able to witness the scene of panda cubs drinking milk in the delivery room. Before starting the tour, you can visit the Panda Museum, which shows the living habits and environment of pandas. You will have a further understanding of them.
Throughout your visiting you will be escorted by your guide and a professional panda keeper. In each stop you will be introduced to the relative facts about pandas. Along the way, you always scour the trees for lively pandas. After the pleasant time there you will be escorted back to hotel.

- Lunch isn’t provided, so we highly recommend enjoying Chengdu’s famous local flavors like hotpot, Mapo Tofu, and so on. Your private guide can help you order and share insights into Chengdu’s food culture.
- Pandas are usually most active in the morning. So you are suggested to get up earlier to see the most active pandas.
- There are no activities offered such as directly touching pandas, holding pandas, or feeding.
